ANIMALS

Although I have some patience when photographing bees and butterflies, my patience dries up quickly when photographing animals...mostly birds. I have been fortunate to attend birds of prey photo shoots at a local camera store...these owls and hawks are very accommodating by posing for their portraits. Out in the wild, I feel like the birds are teasing me by sitting just long enough for me to spot them and then they move beyond what my lens can reach or hide behind leaves. I keep at it because it is an exercise in patience, which is sometimes well rewarded.
