Fine Art Photography
Macro photography can be of almost anything, and I really enjoy capturing the details of larger objects, such as train cars or tree bark. I am a technical writer for my "day job," so it is only natural that my photography reflects the details and nuances of things that people may not take the time to look at closely otherwise. I also use this type of photography to challenge myself because photographing rust, crackled paint, and decaying wood requires more thought about composition than the natural beauty of a flower or butterfly.
