Fine Art Photography
Architecture photography is primarily influenced by my travels, especially to Europe, though every country has inspirational buildings, structures, and details to try and capture. Wide-angle lenses are my preferred approach to these subjects, as it gives a bit of a different perspective than what you might see just by standing and looking at the building. In other words, I am the person who is awkwardly squating down in front of a building and looking up (and shuffling weirdly backwards to try and get as much of the building in view as possible). This part of my portfolio is more than just buildings, but my approach is generally similar for every architecture subject...wide-angle with a perspective beyond the average tourist.
